Discuss your projectWhat does TalkMapper do?
TalkMapper is a complete audio-transcription workspace: it processes long files, separates speakers, links text to audio segments, supports multilingual speech recognition, provides interactive visual skins, and exports documents, subtitles, video, text, or structured data.
Can TalkMapper create meeting minutes and reports?
TalkMapper exports editable Word DOCX documents using templates for meeting notes, executive reports, interviews, and technical memos. The resulting document is based on the transcript and supplied metadata. Its completeness and accuracy depend on the selected model, template, settings, audio quality, and human review; it should not be treated as an official record without validation.
Can TalkMapper identify different speakers?
Yes. Speaker diarization separates voices into speaker-labeled segments that you can review and rename.
Which file types can I upload?
The workflow accepts common audio formats supported by the app. In Pro mode, each audio file can be up to 120 minutes and 300 MB. Current accepted formats and limits are shown before upload.
Which formats can I export?
Exports include Word DOCX, TXT, SRT, WebVTT, YouTube SBV, ASS, LRC, TTML/DFXP, CSV, JSON, interactive HTML skins, and WEBM video from the Audio video skin. Word templates include meeting notes, executive report, interview, and technical memo.
Does TalkMapper support different languages?
Yes. You can use automatic language detection or select Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, Italian, or German for speech recognition. The current implementation recognizes spoken languages; automatic translation between languages is not advertised as a built-in feature.
Is there a free option?
Yes. Free mode prepares and transcribes the first five minutes of the selected audio so you can test the transcription workflow and advanced editor. Subscription mode unlocks Pro limits and batch processing.
Can I process files in the background or as a batch?
Yes. After the server accepts a job, it remains in the processing queue. Pro mode supports batches of up to five audio files, and subscription users can return to “My transcripts” to follow or recover submitted jobs.
How is my data handled?
Files and transcript data are processed to provide the service. Please review the Privacy Policy for the current details, providers, retention, and your rights.
